Derby Horses in Green and White

I love the smell of fresh turf in the morning. There’s something so exciting about getting to the track. Maybe it’s the possibilities that exist for the day or maybe it’s just seeing those beautiful creatures run their hearts out. Could be the thousands of dollars I’m about to win. “And they’re off!” My horse is in first place! Yes, I’m going to win this! I’ve already got this money spent! I could use a new house. Oh! Oh! Oh! She’s in second now! That’s ok. That’s ok. She can get back up there and if not I’ll still get paid out enough to get that new car I was looking at. They’re coming around the stretch now. She’s falling back to third place! Come on! Ugh! The race is over now, and she came in third! So, I didn’t win the thousands I was promised when I got here. The day isn’t a total loss. I still won some money and as it turns out, it was exactly enough to buy these great horse and jockey socks. I’m going to wear these the next time I come back here. Maybe, I’ll pick the winner then. If not, at least people will think I’m a winner when they see my new socks!
